Hey Tetra you had did it pretty successfully with PowerJam formerly - you can do it again and with fgl ...Wowwwww you know lah ....he will play the Guitar with his legs, his Hands below his groin, his hands behind his back and waist from behind and - play and plug the lead with his mouth strum the guitar with his Tongue and sings well too (where to find) ...................should join should join.

Sidebets on Winning Bands- got prize or not har ? Kekekekekke.

o.o haha so many knowned bands joining. haha I'll be joining toO~ but our band jsut started 3 month ago ^^ and this shall be... you can say our first competition/gig/ exposure~ hehe. Catch cyani†e in action ~

** Great news, City Music (www.citymusic.com.sg) is sponsoring $300 voucher for the winning band. They will also be providing the amplifiers for bass and electric guitar.

** Peak Fusion (www.peak-fusion.com.sg) will be providing the awesome Beyerdynamic microphones for use throughout the competition.

Hi Warren, I will upload the videos online and the judges will grade from there. Spent the whole Monday sending all the amps and PA system to the sponsors. Today got to work and will be only back late evening.

Will send emails to everyone once I get them uploaded.

Core Purpose of this Band Competition here is to Promote Friendship & Support among the Bands within Soft in this Competition and More.eeeee. ..Socialisation among Bands here promotes Support for each other in any further Gigs or Competitions by any Bands (you all knows now and terms them as friends/buddies) … besides the FUN Thing.

Within Soft, plan is on the way (and it will be Up & Coming very very soon) – to Organise Get-Together, Monthly Meetups for our very own …LOCAL BANDS here within Soft….Bands can be of Any Genre / Forms of Music…This Promote Music generally as a whole and is not restricted to - - only Rock or Jazz Pop, Top Forties, Fusion whatever……….and it will be FREE.


A Brief About – – Retribution Movements Singapore

We realize and acknowledge the success of RMS (Retribution Movement Singapore) – comprising app 26 Philipino Bands now within Soft.com…and it was successfully managed by Bro Kit & his Team Of Committee with Monthly Meetup for – The Community Of Pinoy Musicians in Singapore (all Hobbyiest with a Day-Job)… and it was really a great Success

This Group started out in December 2009 within Soft with only 19 Bands and today 6 months later – 26 Bands gathering without fail on a Monthly Meetup to Share their Passion in Music as 1 Huge Family…at Different Venues in Singapore.

I was there at every single meetup (except for one) and James (Owner of Soft) was there at the 1st meetup and we both enjoyed ourselves very much here.



New: - Coming Up – A Collective Of Hobbyiest Local Band (Monthly Meetup Within Soft)

Plans are on the way

(1) Formulate A Name – for his New Social Band Group made Up Of Local Hobbyiests Band for Monthly Meetup and Sharing their Music (we need to come up with a Nice Name) - as it will stay thereafter.

(2) A Committee Members and Sub-Committee Members will be coming up soon for this Task (I will not release anything as yet) – all made up of Soft Members in the Bands participating.

(3) I had already managed to secure a Venue (will let all of you know once everything is Finalised) for this – Soft’s Band Meetup held on a ( Regular Monthly Basis).

(4) As this is a “ Soft’s Social Band Monthly Meetup Activity “… It is Free, and there is no need to “Sell Tickets” to Play … bands join in as a “ Members Of This Soft Band Group/Community” .. that’s about It. But you pay for your own Drinks at the Venue (that’s all)…Promise you – It will be Very Very Reasonable.

(5) Depending on The number of Bands – This Group has – we might Start from 2pm till 11pm in the nite.



NOTE: - Some might say – What if we have 50 Bands here ? … How are we able to fit in 50 Bands on a Single Day. Of course we can’t….

Assumming we have 50 Bands….we can allow 15 bands (just an assumption) each taking up 30 minutes per slot….Bands will be Line up and given Time slot….BUT

IMPORTANT (Please Read): - Objective of this Band Meetup (from the very start) is to promote Support for all the 15 Bands among each other in this Group…right? So Don’t just After-Playing and pack up and go back home ( I saw this kinda behaviour in Selling Ticket kind of Activity) No this is different here

…Please stay to support the rest of the Bands…It’s a Get-Together kinda thing for Soft band to Promote & Support each other bands and Foster Friendship here ….This remain our Purpose and Focus for this

So what happen to the rest of the Bands (that are not the 15 bands here playing for that particular month) – Come also and join them….It will be a great Crowd.

See… what happens is – You Support Me I Support You, You Support My Band, I support Your Band too (fostering relationship among Band Members and also Personal Relationship) …..and this is what we wanna Promote here…Togetherness as a FAMILY and have Fun once in a month – For BANDS within Soft who wanna join in.

Ok…I think I have been writing too long – sorry as usual too Long-Winded..but the above is the Idea and Activity Coming up very soon it’s already along the Pipe-line just that – I took the opportunity to ride on - Bro Legenandary point of view here…

Yes, as what RD has mentioned we have some ideas going on. The purpose is not limited to just hobby bands it's for everyone though the main intention is to showcase young bands. We also have in-line got some experience and season musicians who does music as their bread and butter to perform though nothing's finalized yet.

We don't believe musicians should be force to sell tickets or pay to play. We never did that in the past and this trend should stop! We are also looking for some volunteers to build up a proper committee for this on-going event. We might have a meeting next month to see how we can do this together. Meanwhile sit tight and we'll update soon!
