Small Practice Amp

What´s up?



I´ve around SGD 500 and is looking to buy a small practice amp, looking towards a small low wattage tube amp, but it can be a SS as well any recommendations?



Thinking of Tech 21 Trademark 10



I´m not too keen on the Marshall AVT series....

you are in the same situation as me man...except I´m looking for full tube amps only.

I´ve tried the trademark 10, it´s too noisy, and too pricey.

i had a marshall avt100, its good but too much of a bedroom amp lol.

I´m thinking of getting a mesa f30 or a marshall dsl201. any suggestions?

I´m looking for a Low-wattage bedroom volume amp too

I´m targeting the Behringer GM 110 (it´s a copy ver. of TradeMark 10) or the Kustom 12A.



I´ve tried the GM 110 and it is pretty noisy, but i thought it would be due to the single-coil strat i was usin to try it out. Maybe a humbucker-loaded guitar would not be as noisy?



Also, the "gain / distortion" on the GM 110 are plentiful (at low volumes too!

) so i guess that contributes to the noise factor eh?

Any recommendations anyone??

Btw, Metallibeast- u´re from accross the causeway right? how´s the range of guitar stuffs there? or u purchase ur gears from s´pore?

if you read other forums, you´d discover that the DSL 201/ 401 gets very hot over prolonged use. i´m vouching this concern as i used to own a 401. however, i´d assure you that this setback can be overcome if you deligate a small table fan to cool its rear when in use.



the 401 has an immaculate clean tone, unlike fender´s which can be too sparkling clean. it´s easily the best non-fender clean tone that i´ve come across. however, the 201/ 401 are >$500...

Thinking of Pro Junior and Blue Junior as well...both made by Fender....any idea what the prices are?
