single bass drum technic

hi, i dont really know the specific terms, but jus wanna ask how do you guys play your bass drum? As in do you stick your whole foot onto the pedal or do you use the front part of your foot? pardon me for the unclear description. and yea, which type of it would you guys reccomend?would appreciate some help

i think you meant Toe and Heel

I would use both depends what kind of songs and the dynamics of the songs.

It is good to practice with both technique.

I find that the only way to get good foot tech is to simply practice your ass off... you'll find what works best for you.
