Hi guys,
I just wanted to share an achievement of mine. Last saturday I sang in a jamming session for 2 hours. And at the end of the 2 hours, I was still able to sing! Previous times, I have worn out my voice after a very short time only.
I think what made the difference was sticking to good technique instead of screaming. I have a habit of increasing pressure when I can't hear myself over the band, and that causes bad vocal chord approximation, eventually leading to pain and total inability to sing. But I was able to keep that habit in check, keeping the pressure balanced and maintaining my voice throughout.
I am very happy now
One bad habit down, 10 more to go..
