YES it is true that ...there is actually some problem buying the 2-days Tickets for Tier 1 at SISTIC...BUT the fact is that it really had nothing to do with the Organiser of the Event.

There is a problem at SISTIC itself (internally) and the Organiser knew about this. To any Organiser of Events, they will want to sell all their tickets if possible (common logic - what the point of holding the 1st-Tier Tickets when it's not reserve for anybody - right Bros?) - why not? to at least cover the major cost of an event.

The Organiser of DRUMFEST 2007 is likewise persuing the above matter - as to what happened as this matter should never arise.....

PS: - Who knows? SISTIC might have to compensate for this matter....I hope this problem will be solve soonest possible as the DrumFest is just 2 weeks from now.

It has nothing to do with the Organiser Of The Event......Trust me !

exclusive private lessons or master classes by them?? they only offer 500 seats for all.. so can't be that exclusive and private when u share a room with other 499 applicants.

oh saw it.. wow that's good.. but i doubt it'll be cheap.. if 70 buck can lo i fork out that money to get lessons from them... but i'd doubt it'll be 70 bux(normal masterclass price)...

dude, all the details and information (including price) are all up on website and also, how can private lesson be cheap? The site tells it all, its only limited to a certain limit of people. If I am not wrong, on the site, it says that Derek is only taking in 6 people. 3 classes, 2 people each class.

Bro marcdadrummer (you've to read the site carefully or there will be misrepresentation as quoted by you here for all).

( 1 ) Offering 1 hour Private Classes

Derek Roddy
1 to 1 = S$250 per person
2 to 1 = S$250 per person

Grant Collins
1 to 1 = S$220 per person
2 to 1 = S$140 per person
3 to 1 = S$110 per person

Tony Royster
1 to 1 = S$220 per person
2 to 1 = S$140 per person
3 to 1 = S$110 per person

NOTE: - The money is collected by the Artist, as the organizer has no take on this money (just a S$20 per class to cover rental fees that’s all – for info here).


( 2 ) Master-Classes are a totally different thing again


Total 6 classess for Master-Classes will accommodate 500 persons

1 Master-Class will accommodate only at most 80 persons


( 3 ) The Latest News On Sales Of Tickets by Music Clef, Trumpet Priase & Drum Resources. (but you cannot choose the seats here). Prices at SISTIC remain unchanged but can choose your seats.

(1) How many of you have bought your tickets to the DrumFest on the 9th & 10th June 2007.

(2) How many of you are contemplating and would like to go - BUT had not bought your tickets as yet.

I've spoken to the Organiser of DrumFest 2007 and they have somewhat agreed to create an AREA FOR SOFT DRUMMERS here - at the end of the each day events - so that all SOFT DRUMMERS at the DrumFest could get-away from the envisage long queqe at end of event (where people usually wants the Artist Signature or whatever on their Special Sovenier Book)) and we here in SOFT can have a Special Priviledge An Added Advantage to meet the Artist 1st on our OWN SPECIAL QUEQUE......However I need you all to PM or sent an e-mail to me....stipulating ON HEADLINGS - "DRUMFEST 2007"

(1) Your Nick here in Soft / Your Real Name
(2) Your HP Number
(3) Your Seat No & your Row No

Those names that are not in our SOFT DRUMMER LISTING will join the Normal Queqe (imagine 2000 people there) - We need this - or else anyone will just come and ride into our queqe because of this Special Priviledge. You cannot approach us there & then and says - Hey I'm a Soft Drummer....and there will most likely be other benefits too I guess (Even if there is - I can't and will not disclosed here now).

Thiose that have not bought their tickets yet, but would like to go to theis DRUMFEST- please likewise PM me or e-mail me your details as above - I will consolidate the listings - and sent it to the Organiser so that they can work-out something for all of you SOFT DRUMMERS - but of course it's not getting FREE TICKETS....but I'm sure they will work something special on it for you all.

I wish and hope Drummers here will not miss an Event that is been Held here in Singapore & also Asia for the 1st-time......These memories and experience are worth much more then we ever imagine.......

Hi RudimentalDrummer- thanks bro ! yes you are correct the advantage of all those who bought early is that we can choose the best seats, that's why I choose to seat on the aisle so that I can take good pictures

Yup you're correct - - cannot bring Camera to DrumFest - - - but the Organiser Of DrumFest was kind enough to allow " A Soft Photographer - with PASS to bring in Camera" to take Photos/Pics of the DrumFest - so that the Pics can be posted here within Soft for those who really can't attend - together with a Review of the entire Event. I would say "Thanks You" to the organiser - that was very kind of them to Soft here.

This Review will also be posted at DRUMMERWORLD - The World No.1 Drum Forum.

So - Let's Support The DrumFest 2007 As Best As We Could by attending the event - It's the 1st ever within Asia, afterall WE ARE DRUMMERS & it will be a great event for sure !

yeah, I feel that this is the kind of 'spirit' we should have. After all, its an event organized for US as drummers.. can't wait for it man!! The discounted price is really cheap, but those can't afford CAT 1, go for CAT 3.. even if you can just simply afford 1 day, why not.. I seriously feel this is the THING for all of the drummers in SG!! Feel the atmosphere!!

I will buy a few Sovenier book - get the drummers to sign them all - then I sell later at S$200.00 per Souvenier, use the money buy another cymbal - Hm.hhhh not bad an idea hor bros.....Kekekekeke wah I so cleber :lol: :lol:

Ooops and the T-Shirts I almost forgot - sell S$60.00 for one......

I'm going to grap quite a lot of these sovenier - Nett price I sell - no cham-siong one....Hahahaha ! :lol:

Ei I will not shoot 10mb per pics because that is RAW file already, I will shoot High quality jpeg.. so 5 gig would be around 1,000 ++ pics

Hey any of you guys have a small tripod? I got a big tripod and I think I cannot bring it since I already have a camera... would appreciate if anyone of you can bring a tripod for the group pictures.. coz I also want to be in the pics of course :lol:
