Tickets will be on Sales starting this Monday 16.4.2007 on all SISTIC OUTLET ....
I will be at the Outlet in IMM at 10.00am sharp.ppppppppppppp and grap my Tickets...
Note: I asked if I can buy it through the internet...SISTIC says Yes...but I will only collect my ticket 1 or 2 day (or on the day itself) when I go to the DrumFest - so I don't want to buy through the net - or else - How am I going to try to get a Free MasterClass - when the organiser release the info in May.....For the MasterClass Complimentary (if you buy the 1st-Tier Tickets) we have to go collect the (thing?) from the organiser personally - but must also produce proof of the "Ticket to DrumFest"....that's what I understand...but it's not a guarantee sure get the free complimentary MasterClass one it's 1st come 1st serve basis.
PS: - Anyone care to join me buy tickets this MOnday - - ...Bros.sssssssss..I'm going to take 30 minutes time-off from work just to get the tickets.
The 1st, 2nd & 3rd tier Tickets - are sitting position - not just go inside and can anyhow sit anywhere one.....I guess it must be like that.

If you do not want to go, don't go lah (but what's all this boycott nonsence you are talking about here) - If the drummers here can go (and are not tie-up) on that day they will go for sure , if not they just can't go - nothing on Boycotting of the event at all. If you work in a company and you Boycott - that;s call rioting - can go jail one...you know?
I think you must have interpreted it very wrongly Bro...The organiser do not think that they are big or any thing like that. They feel good cause for the 1st time here - they try their best - and did bring the drumFest to us all so that we can all enjoy...It's our Festival - A Festival for Drummers.
As regards to the tier thing - they must have their reasons so as to managing this entire event smoothly. If it's free sitting - everybody will rush in lah....if we all got seat number - then no need to rush lah - just walk in and enjoy the show.....that's about it. Also to organise events like these need plenty of $$$$$$ - the fact is - Organiser can loose money too many a times organising big events like these....you think organiser sure can make plenty of $$$ one meh - it depends? - so look at this area too - that's why tickets are not cheap (but they are definetely not expensive - do your maths man)
You so clever - you go organise this sort of events lah - talk everyone knows how to talk. I mean at the end of the day - they organise it for a good cause, for the good of us all.....and here you are - have plenty of complains lah...Of couse have to pay $$$$ lah, nothing is free one lah...drummers fly here from the states...free one har?, they take their time to share also free one har??/ - hey they are Professionals lah..gotta make a living if not eat what they all.

Aiyah you wanna buy cymbals - go buy many many 4D lah - strike already - wah sei can buy not only many many cymbal, can buy the most expensive kit somemore - but 1st so easy meh ...

Aiyo, don't support piracy!! haha.. eh, these drummers might not even be coming to Singapore again, some more its first time in Asia, what an event! Even for me as a student , I wished I could save for gear but I still think through this kind of event, you will learn and have a larger perspective what 'Drums' could do. Nothing beats seeing them 'live' seriously. Shucks, even Rudimental Drummer is going 10am sharp to get tix.. argh!! waiting for my next part-time job payday :roll:
somehow just from looking at posts, i think my guess is gonna be right. this is perhaps going to be the first and the last drum festival.
but i am still gonna support it!
any butties taking part in the compy? it will be interesting to see pros to take part in them too. although drumming is no competition, but the pros in sg gt to take the lead some how right?
i guess the answer to the number of pros in sg to take part would be 0 also.
i sincerly hope this is gonna be an annual or bi annual event. lets just give our support guys.

but there would be on house videoman cameraman to take in to the action and make a dvd outta it....
there's lots of drumfest dvd's i presume amirite???
haiyaa... i can afford the last tier ticket but it's gonnna be FAAAR back... not shiok...
unless it's like everyone stand up and the first person in gonna be the closest to the stage...

Well was at SISTIC at 9.50am IMM (1st one there) at 10am got my tickets - Whahahhahaha ! 1st Row Seat - me so happy...
Section 102 Right from Centre (so I can see the snare if at centre), Row B (which is 1st row), Seat No 1 & 2..... :lol: :lol: :lol:
PS: Put up your Section No, Row No and Seat No - so we know who you are mah - eg someone just pop up and says - - "Hi Bro DrumDead...I'm Rudi"..Kekekekeke

I dont think there is free master classes passes, you must either buy the 2 Days CAT 1 ($190) to redeem 2 x 1 hour of master class or just buy the master class tickets itself.
"$190 ticketholders enjoy priority privileges when they redeem Master Class tickets from 7 May 2007 to 12 May 2007!
