In the good light of the competition...it is this chance that many local bands watch and learn from mistakes & flops! a healthy mix of genres are involved here... Instead of being busy speculating, why not open up our minds and practice hard for our quarter finals! Best of luck to all who did went through, man..

did anyone go for the auditions on sunday? is it just me, or did almost every band play old school metal or vintage? i thought the competition was supposed to be more diversed than tt......

do emo bands stand a chance at all or does their 80 buck entrance fee get instantly sucked into the prize money because they're playing the wrong genre?

come watch de-ataq during quarter final this sat 15th i gurantee you'll love it hehe

i was there during saturday's audition, well its 6pm onwards actually, i see lots of bands playing new stuffs (probably by the time i arrived, they stopped playing ol' school metal well except for the paranoid cover near the end...),

and yea especially this band "Chaos", who covered R.A.T.M's "know yer enemy". pretty good stuff though. man wonder how the quarterfinals are like.

watch de-ataq guys we're in the semis at DXO on the 20th August 2006 we'll try to blow you away. yeah i must say the judges r pretty tough bout things from technical to singing to even dressing.
