HEARTLANDERS wasn't purely a cop show..it was more of HDB life through the eyes of NPP officers.

My advise, if you are not signing on as an inspector or above and/or you treasure your freedom alot.. forget it...
also, if you can't stand politics and ass-licking people or you can't carry other people's balls... forget it...
There's no prestige in such stuff. How can you expect patriotism and loyalty when majority of the force is "forced" into the force... maybe hence the names...
Be realistic, you can be in the Star Team, Commando or whatever ****... in the end you are still just a lowly pawn for the "higher authority" to use...
Signing on as a senior officer and above gets you clear of well... most of the **** work and it's the starting point to climb up to become the higher authority...
But if you dun really care and only interested in the $$, wth, signing on to anything is the same..
