i went sweelee with slippers and shoes before.. i feel that its not the way u dress it matters? i went with slippers and theres asst coming up asking how can i help u in a nice nice tone.. i said to look around and yeah he left me alone.. while i went in shoes nice nice.. no one came to me..

And as for overpricing, please dont expect the prices to be the same as those overseas. You have to pay a little more for them to bring it in, and if you think its too ex, why not import it in yourself?

1) I wanted to buy the TC Powercore from Team108. At that point it was bundled with a FREE copy of the Powercore Virus at USD 995. With s/h,GST it came up to a little over S$2k.

Team 108 wanted to charge me ~$1.8K for the card PLUS $800+ for the software (BEFORE GST). I also had to wait for delivery and pay a 50% deposit while waiting for delivery (this means 2 trips to Team 108 - pay the deposit and to collect the card).

I save about $600 ordering from the net; and I didn't even have to leave home.

2) Then I wanted to buy Reason 3. Price quoted by

team108 is $866.25.
Autosoft (a hk brick & mortar shop) = S$747.20 (no shipping but no big deal; I'm going to HK in Sept)
Synthplanet (internet shop) - ~$700 (With delivery & Singapore GST)

To be fair to Team 108, I asked them to match autosoft's price. No reply. While they may not be able to match a Euporean Internet store, I do expect them to match an Asian store's price.

Conclusion : Team 108 will not get any business from me.

Someone mentioned the not being allowed to carry your bags when you browse thing? Have you ever thought that it could be a way to save yourself from paying for damages if you happen to knock over guitars or whatnot with your bag when browsing?

This thread is about bad service in this thread and there are others who bitch about it, yet you wrote nothing against them.

ps - I don't have too much money; that's why I'm trying to save by buying online.

When I requested for a price match, there was NO REPLY. Hey, at least tell me you can't match the price.

Why did you not comment on him/her?

Therefore, it's a personal attack and that's why you should apologise.

If Team108 pricing is not competitive, it's going to be tough on them to survive in a generation of net savy musicians. FYI, oversea stores reply within 1 working day.
