My Home studio Set up
iMac 3.06GHZ i3 4GB RAM
Kurzweil PC3LE
Yamaha MG102c
Presonus Fire Studio Mobile
Tascam AVL5
The M-Audio Firewire 410 is the one connected to the Firewire 800 port of the iMac. then chain to Fire Studio Mobile coz when the Fire Studio is directly connected to iMac's Firewire port, it looses sync. Anyone having same problem? I think there's an issue on firewire 400 to 800 connection. Thats the reason why i bought the Presonus, i thot my 410 is damaged or something. Now selling my 410, (anyone keen, PM me) to buy a external HDD firewire, to be use as chain to Presonus and having an extra storage.
The goose neck mic is from my Korg R3, using it for video chatting. Hehe

The Yamaha Mixer takes all other inputs i need, (except for the Condenser Mic/s which i input directly to the Audio interface 1/2). For example, audio L/R of the PC3LE6, INs for Bass/Guitar etc.... Mixer REC OUT to INPUT 3/4 of audio interface then Interface's Main OUT back to Mixer's 2TRIN and the Mixer's Main OUT to the Monitor Speakers. All these routing can be done without the mixer, but sometimes i have an outboard effects processor (Example: Reverb/Compressor Rack for the acoustic guitar) so i will need the mixer's AUX's Send/Return.
Oh and i use the mixer for the Korg R3's gooseneck Mic for video chatting hehe.... yes, imac's built in mic is good but sometimes i need play the keyboard/or play songs in iTunes for my chatmate to hear. So i set for example Skype's Audio In's preference to be the interface. So what ever audio the mixer gets, skype gets. Hehehe Cheers!
