Shop that takes in 2nd hand gear?

Are there any shops that would take in second hand bass gear at a fair price?

dont expect much from shops that take in gears tho, anw parklane basement near the mac there's this shop that take in 2nd hand stuff,guitar connection also takes in

i think you'd be better off going to talkbass than to sell it to a dealer... i'd imagine that a dealer would take it in at half of it's value, maximum. there's also ebay but selling is a pain in the ass

How much would it cost to ship an amp this size to the States?

yeah selling international would work, since Genz Benz amps have that switch to change the voltage so it works in the US. no idea how much shipping would cost, though.

best option is probably to use SPEEDPOST... not sure about the rates, the website is... what it is and there's a shipping rate table that doesnt tell us much. best to bring it down to the post office to figure it out.

US prices are really competitive. i suggest you match these prices and ask the seller to pay for shipping. the US market is large and US sellers favour US buyers. however, the international market will provide more opportunities. i've been selling stuff on talkbass, but it has been kind of rare to send it to the US. mostly australia, UK, finland...
