Share: Personal ghostly encounters...

I used to hear those marble sounds and chair moving sounds when I was younger, but now I don't anymore. If those are really ghosts - they must have quite a huge HDB network eh! In my opinion, one shouldn't get used to living in constant fear of these creeking sounds and all. Fear only breeds more fear.

eh you guys know ah, they say right, if you see a 'hantu tetek' (which literally means 'breast ghost' when translated), all you have to do is show her a REAL PAIR of boobies to scare her off. cos the hantu tetek is known to only have 1 boob.

so one day i was talking to my girlfriend, and she's claiming that almost nothing of the supernatural sort can frighten her. So i suggested dressing up as a hantu tetek, then the only way she could scare me off is if she would...

heh heh heh. didnt work though.. damn!

"Red"

Many years ago, the walls of Japanese houses were made of thin rice paper. It was thin enough for you to see the shadow of someone on the other side, but you couldn't make out any details. Anyway, one night, a young businessman was walking through a village on the way home. It was getting dark, so he stopped at a house and asked the man their if he could stay with him for the night. "Of Course," the man replied, "I don't get many visitors."

Later that night, as the man was sleeping, he was woken up by a rhythmic tapping. He opened his eyes and saw the silhouette of a woman dancing (Remember, the walls are made of rice paper). He wet his finger and poked a hole through so he could have a better view. Through it, he saw a beautiful woman dancing. Her long, black hair covered one side of her face. The man wondered why the old man hadn't told him about her. He decided to take one last look through the hole. This time, all he saw was a red glow and nothing else. Thinking nothing of it, the man settled into a deep sleep. The next morning, at breakfast, he asked the old man, "Who was that woman in the room beside me?"

The old man replied, "Woman? There isn't anyone living with me. I used to have a daughter, but we couldn't find a suitor for her, as she was born with a deformity. She died in that room."

"What was the deformity?" The young man asked.

"She was born with one red eye."

--THE END--

Mr Goh, 37, said the marble sounds can be traced to air-con pipes or old refrigerators, while the sounds of furniture being
dragged across the ceiling, another common occurrence, could be due to lift doors opening and closing. Water hammer occurs when water flow is shut off suddenly like when the toilet is flushed. This change in pressure rattles
the piping and create 'clanging'sounds, which may sound like marbles dropping after distortion through concrete walls,
he said.

Three explanations
1) When water flow is shut off suddenly, the change in pressure rattles the pipes, which may sound like marbles dropping
after distortion through walls

2) Some pre-fabricated floors used in HDB flats have an embedded high-strength steel cable which can give off creaking
sounds when they contract.

3) It is really children playing with marbles

This should help, I think

I still prefer explanation No.3. Cos if it were 1 or 2 this thread wouldnt be much fun would it!

There is this block at Woodlands near the church which is empty. The residents decided to move out of the block because many of them encountered strange sightings. They saw this woman in white covered in blood wondering around the block. Intend to check it out....Anyone wants to join me

I know where you're talking, cause i'm living at Woodlands too! Alot strange stuffs happened there. Its heard that when the foreigners looking for place to sleep, he found the empty block to live, as he happily went in, over that he finally found a cheap n a roof over his head, but next day the morning, he found out he's sleeping at the corridor! *Goosebumps*! There are alot of myths at there too, its really creepy to see that whole houseblock got nobody lives in it!

Time to form an SPI group!

SOFT Paranormal Investigators!

Hahahahaha!!!!

Video outings to haunted places and then fellow Soft musicians write and record the theme and accompanying music. Then commercially sell the DVDs.

Then come Halloween, organize a metal gig and play and dress up as Pontianaks, Pocongs, Langsuirs, Toyols, Hantu Teteks, Penanggals and whatnot.
