I was hitching a lift back with my friend after an evening of pool at Marina about two months back.
As we were driving across the Benjamin Sheares bridge, I noticed this little kid pushing a plactic tricycle down the side of the road. This was around 1 am, and I was wondering what a kid would be doing there at that hour.
I nudged my friend, and he turned to take a look. His face went totally pale, and he looked away.
The next thing I knew, this kid started smiling and waving at us. I felt the hairs on the back of my neck standing and I quickly turned by gaze back to the road.
I later asked my friend what he saw, and he refused to tell me. And for the remainder of the drive home, he stopped speaking entirely. He didn't even say Bye when he dropped me off.[/quote]
Must have been his illegimate chile la...!!
