the gdi sounds better? u sure sub? i tried it before, and i think it lacks clarity.

BUT. it does somehow sound warmer than the new gt2. although against the old gt2, it fails.

In my case, although Im just plain lazy and plugged straight to comp, I'll still say so anyway.

I find that my Landmine Distortion Pedal (use Mix output instead of normal output) works very well with my TS7 especially if your playing lead.

It sounds excellent in position 4 (neck+mid) on my Squier Strat.

I've yet to try it on the amp (im a lazy lazy guy). Will do so soon though. That is, when I have the time. Hhaha.

I run a low-gained RAT into a max-gained Bad Monkey. I like how notes become sharper and palm mutes become tighter. Is that what you guys are trying to achieve too by stacking??

Question: is using a low-gained "distortion" pedal = an OD pedal??

Been using a Fab Overdrive -> OS-2 system. Thought it sounded much smoother for running notes.. but I hate the missing clarity for chords.

with a stupidbox, it works well with my randolf-ed bd2. but at higher volumes, personally i feel the stupidbox performs excellent at high volumes rather than low

i'm running a crunchbox through a ts9 right now. when i use them together i get a really nice, gainy, lead tone with lots of sustain.

I've tried running a Mike Modded BD-2 into another Mike Modded DS-1 and the sound was excellent. The clarity of the BD-2 kinda cleaned up the sound of the higher gain DS-1 to produce a slightly creamy sound, think a TS9DX but less creamy.

Goose modded Boss SD-1 into a Fulltone OCD version 2.

The modded SD-1 usurped my ex-favourite Hotcake's position on my pedalboard for boosting the OCD and as a mild OD on its own.

Expandora 2(nice n creamy) as main unit, and another expandora ri as a boost or cascading unit for heavier stuff.

Works magic for me, esp on fender amps.

2 Drives are capable of giving you 3 different sounds altogether.

Drive 1 alone, Drive 2 Alone, and both drives stacked.

Whereas 1 drive will only give you one sound.

My POV is that 2 drives are more versatile. But it subjects to the pedals used.

believe it or not i use to stack sd1->marshall jackhammer (od channe) nice plexi kinda old school tone ...now im experimenting on the BD2->DS1 or eq ->bd2 ..ehhe ...
or worst metalzone (replicate od ) to bd2 ..

too many ways to cascade and get gd tones from various ods and dist pedals
i just like ods ...like the old ADA mp1 ..
