Hi everyone from the current local J-rock Scene. Let me re-introduce myself if you dont know me.
I am Koyuki, band leader of REI, a local Jrock band. I'm the culprit that organized the monthly J-rock Gigs for the love of this subculture and to help local J-Rock enthusiasts gain exposure and gigging experience through these gigs which i now call them "J-Code #xxx".
For the past 1 year, we have had many fun gigs as well as boring gigs, (not everyday is sunday LOL) but still its been up for about a year now. I've seen many new faces and even some old faces came back into the scene. I truely appreciate the support by the fans and friends of all the bands.
But until recently, I've been facing some problems with gigging avenues. Some are too far away, some equipments not good enough, some too expensive and risky to rent considering the past few atttendance ratings of patrons to the gigs. There will be a major change of the system which I tink will ultimately benefit all Bands and Fans alike. I would like to call this meeting to discuss with all of you, regulars especially, and of course the SGJR Alliance, this upcoming change of system in upcoming J-codes.
Of course I would welcome any feedback that you guys think that it would be beneficial to the scene. I hope we can all help each other to maintain this scene and make it bigger and better.
Please send me a confirmation of your band or representative's attendance to
rei.koyuki@hotmail.com
by 16th March so i can know if i should wait for anymore people in the case of lateness which i hope everyone can be punctual.
Love
