Seymour duncan pickups.

Davis does custom orders.

Mind you the PG will be more expensive than most SD buckers.

i might be mistaken but there were at least one or two pearly gates models in davis last i checked about a month or so ago. weren't priced any differently i believe.

Serious?

cos over at the SD forums they mentioned it was a tad more expensive.

Perhaps cuz it is scatterwound.

Hmm check it out with Davis cuz they are the best person to tell you.

Anywae, I got a SD JB' Trem & Jazz for my RG. My latest SZ uses the modified version of SD Duncan Distortion & '59 :)

I love the sound of em'!!

oic . . . cuz i read that its somewhat similar to the SD '59 & Duncan Distortion . . . Thanks for the correction

They don't seem to have a specs for these Duncan/Ibz pickups, do they? Also, on some guitars I've seen, they put Duncan Designed. Is it similar to the Duncan/Ibz as well?

In that case its not a modified seymour huh

the Duncan Ibanez pickups in the SZ320/ 520/ 720 are Korean pickups, designed by Duncan for Ibanez but differentiated from the Duncan Designed models in other guitars. these are exclusive pickups for Ibanez, no other guitar brand name feature them.

the Seymour Duncan IBZ version on the Prestige SZ2020 on the other hand are USA models, made exclusively by Duncan, modelled after the Distortion (bridge) & '59 (neck), but tweaked to enhance the 2020's inherent properties. i like the tweaked version better (both of them) as they sound clearer than the standard production models.

since the topic is on seymour duncan pickups, dun mind me ask a question.. :D

ermm, whats the cheapest seymour duncan humbucker pickups?
