Seymour Duncan blackouts 7 strings pickup

Anyout out there had tried this pick up on their 7 axe? i would like to know how it fairs compared to other active pick ups. I've read lots of good reviews about this pickup. it seems to be better then those EMG's.
please give me an honest comment if anyone is using this pick up. I'm planning to swap to this pick up on my Ibanez S7.

i'm not privy to the 7 version but the Blackout comes default in my guitar here:

Blackout better than EMG? it's up to the discerning ears, really. i hear more clarity coming from the Blackout.
