Settings for dist. pedal

I was wondering what are the settings on the Danelectro Cool Cat Metal pedal to get sounds like
1) Bullet for my valentine
2) Avenged Sevenfold
3) Metallica

it would be great if you guys could tell me the settings on the pedal. thanks

turn up your bass and treble to like 2 o clock, cut down your mids to 7 o clock. And the gain at full of course.

Try tweaking every setting in every way from lowering gain to raising mids etc.

I tried this setting on my metal muff : Treble 11, Mid 12, bass 9, Dist 9.

Awesome sound. Retains the metal feel yet not too ear piercing.

Of course this depends on the guitar and amp youre using ur pedal thru..

Other than that i think you should tweak ur pedal more..

Basically theres a 7 o click setting for each knob all the way till 5 o clock.

Using permutations theres basically many many combis there are to try.

Looks like your amp is not doing its job for you...

They all require different settings as they are of different bands with different tones. If you can't get the sound, you can either:

1) settle with something as close as possible with the current pedal and amp you have (it maybe a good pedal, but at that price it's selling you can only do so much with it).

2) upgrade your pedal

3) upgrade your amp

4) save up over a couple of years and when you can finally afford it, use exactly the same guitar, gear setting as the bands you listed.

I'm putting pedal before amp because I am assuming you will be out gigging.

Well, i'm thinking of getting the hardwire metal distortion.. for my amp, i may be saving up for quite a long time to get a tube amp haha
