i got this for my birthday and ive got absolutely not a single clue on how to use this to tune my guitar. Anybody can help?

if its electric or electro acoustic, connect a cable to the input of your tuner.
if its acoustic or classical, put the tuner with the mic facing close to the string.
standard tuning goes E (1ST STRING, THINNEST), B (2ND STRING), G (3rd string) , D (4th string), A (5th string), E(6th string, thickest)
if your tuner come with the manual, read the manual, usually info be in it.
