For LOG, personally, I don't think the pickup matters much. I think any hi-gain pickup would do fine. I'm currently on PRS HFS and I've also SD Distortion. Both worked fine. I think the tone lies in the signal processing. A pair of Mesa Boogie Mark IV will do the trick I guess.

Anyway Mark Morton used to have SD invaders on his old framus but his new signature Jackson seems to fitted with '59s. You may to give them a try.

my axe(Ibanez SZ320) is fitted duncan/Ibanez pups. According to subversion, the pickups are modelled after the 59's(neck) and SD Distortion (brigde). I'm ok with my neck pups(but not sure if they are as gd as the real SD '59) but the bridge for me doesnt realli cut it.
tt's y i'm considering 2 get a passive pup with a cutting edge for the brigde. Wondering if there are any other recommendations aside from these 2 pickups,like mayb the SD-JB?
