School of Audio Engineering (SAE) ?

Was the pioneer batch there. When they were still operating nice consoles like NEVE VR!!! What are they using now?

Hello, I'm new here. I thought this thread should be an ideal one for me to introduce myself

SOFT, I think your purpose and initiative of starting this website is so admirable~! We need more people like you in the local music scene! 8) This is a very good website to know people interested in music production and live gigs. The industry contacts are also very helpful~!

You are the pioneer batch of SAE?! I'm from SAE too~! :D Currently doing my degree program in recording arts. I'm from the Media Technology program where we learn a bit from the other 2 disciplines as well. Namely, digital film and multimedia. Right now, our best studio is using 2 DM24 digital console with a Tascam MX-2424 harddisk recorder and MAC Protools DAW. For studio monitors, we are using Alesis HR24.

For post production studio, we are using Protools Digi002. It's comes with a small mixer. I can't remember the analog console we are using in the analog production studio. Thay changed it recently. I'm not that learned in equipment. Hope I can learn more from you guys. Oh yah, hope to pick up acoustic guitar very soon :p

ironickel, if you want to know about the courses SAE offers, visit their website. You can request for a brochure to be sent to your home through the website. All the details are there.
