yeah the storyline's a letdown...but i dun think u would disagree with the gore...rite?!?!

and yeah Quentin's losing his touch for unorthodox movies...

He didn't direct it. Don't think he had much of a part in producing it either..it's not tarantino style.

i appreciate gore only when its done tastefully and plays some part in the script..i could not appreciate hostel...

hostel had very little censorship actually...it was preatty brutal...the eye scene... :twisted:

ya i still remember her name...kana..one of the sickest scenes..i enjoyed the movie only cos of the gore..probably the most gory and brutal movie to date..but it's interesting when you think that the movie is inspired by true events..wonder what..anyone knows?

when i see it from an artistic perspective, i love gore. especially decapitation (dont ask me..i do have a heart n im normal) & the vlad-tepes-way. yet to watch a movie with graphic impalement tho :lol: i did this kinda theme for my art project and my teacher wanted me to see a shrink :x

i believe cannibal holocaust had an impalement scene from my vague memory of that show

the cannibal holocaust impalement was pretty good,effects were way ahead of its time. its amazing how simply the impalement scene was acheived,the girl simply sat on the bottom half of the "stake" and had the top half in her mouth,probably suspended from something if i remember right. special edition DVD

i was pretty freaked out by hostel because ive been to the exact train station the scenes were filmed at on a solo euro trip..yikes

saw 3 was a let down, too much hostel-style gore and a weak storyline unworthy of the saw franchise.

anyway you can be sure most of the movies mentioned here will be cut in SG cinemas,so you know what to do boys and girls..

awesome stuff,really disturbing. shes hot as well,until she starts vomiting all over the place (for most of the movie,and all real as well.)

i remember watchin 'cannibal holocaust' way back in sec school which is like freakin 8 or 9 yrs ago man! it was definitely one of the harsher stuff ive watched back then. 'cannibal holocaust' is banned in numerous countries and has become a cult movie now. its amazing how real some scenes are man. so real that the director of the movie actually had to go to court to prove that the effects are just fake blood and make up, etc! hahaha
