how much did adobe audition cost you?

if i'm not wrong adobe audition should be about $500. bought my cool edit at $250 many years ago..

yep - something like 250, quite a long time...didn't upgrade to the 3.0 (pr maybe higher, didn't check anymore).
The version Im using is 1.5 (very old)

Thanks for your DIY recording FAQs - it really helped alot, i hope to complete 9-10 songs then will record them in a studio, mastering and all. atleast this would help my "future bandmates" (whoever they are) get the idea of the song and build on it

haha, I hated from audition 2.0 onwards. (btw $500 is for 3.0) , 1.5 still preserved most of cool editness, but it seems to be slower than cool edit.

not sure about cool edit, but yes 1.5 does have its quirks...it can only handle so much input (from my effects atleast)...or I may need to upgrade my hardware
