Very good Labour Day to you all!
As you all know, I have been doing a lot of planning for organizing this newbie gathering in the Guitar Rookie corner of our beloved Guitar section.

This gathering is mainly targetted towards the increasing amount of guitar newbies which are new to the instrument and I wanna try to my best to put them on the right track by showing them the correct techniques and basic chord knowledge in guitar playing as well as helping to develop their own personal style in playing.
This will be roughly a 2 hour gathering. How this works is that I will be showing and sharing my aspects on how I play the guitar as well as some basic knowledge like tuning your instrument and how to warm up and stuff. After that, it will be your show, meaning that you all will simply ask me or any of my helpful volunteers ANYTHING which you wanna ask about guitar or any difficulties playing and we can help ya out. I wanna try to make this session/gathering as lively and interactive as possible so that we can eventually learn something from each other.
Okay with that being broken down, I will announce the date. The gathering will be held tomorrow at 3pm in the afternoon at The Esplanade. We will all be meeting at City Hall MRT control station half an hour earlier. Just in case there will be a case of bad weather, it will be at that big hallway area where those breakdancers do their stuff. But we can have it there too if ya guys want.
This is a fun session, but I will also need all of your cooperation for those who wanna attend in order for this thing to work. I will provide a list for those who wanna come: just express your interest here and I will update the list.
For those who previously opted to be a helper or if you are interested to help me out with the newbies, PM me now so I can easily identify with you.
It's really fine if you are coming late. Just gimme me a call/sms and I will tell ya where we are at on that day. BUT please, and pretty please, do not bang seh me last minute. I will not tolerate it. You either make yourself free tomorrow or you inform me in advance today/tonight or the latest by tomorrow at around 12 plus via PM or SMS (sms is best, i dont think i'll be waking up that early also). This is to make sure that I wont be making a wasted trip eventually.
Finally, please do bring your own guitar along. It wouldn't be really nice passing guitars around as we do wanna try out what we wanna learn right? Been there done that.
Alright, here's this list. I'll update it with those of you who wanna come for this thing. Helpers, as mentioned, PM me instead and I'll add you up. Thanks.
