Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum & would appreciate your kind understanding, patience & invaluable input with regards for the situation I find myself in.
Having recently procured a pre-loved Epiphone LP Special (purely based on the fact that it was one of the few lefty instruments that were available at the time) & after watching a few videos online, I've decided to install an Amptone Lab X/Y Midi pad on the guitar.
Trouble is (and majority of those reading might already know where this is heading) - where do I find a properly skilled luthier to do the routing and cavity-work necessary to install the X/Y pad? How much would a job like that cost?
I've heard enough horror stories about a particular workshop in Bras Basah to make me relegate that establishment as the absolute last resort.
Anyone here who have made that leap into installing such electronics into their guitars? Let me know!
