i had the original before. one of the best distortion ever. if you're lucky get the purple ross/phaser...super sweet!

REally? how was it? wad kidna character did it have? cos im reading reviews on it and it says that its warm and gritty? and it uses the TS chip?

ross experience

i have a vintage ross distortion and i can say that my experiences are all good. its quite a unique sound, quite tube screamer like but crunchier, almost fuzz like, but not really a fuzz. it also does the light drive sound quire well, but i feel it sounds better with humbuckers than single coils, it can be a bit trebly and harsh with singles. hope this was useful...

i sold my original ross distortion to mr misse. i cant rem who i sold the ross purple phase/dist to......

and yes it uses the TS chip. very gritty and responsive....

hehe...you should have seen the ross purple phaser/dist unit. that's their most famous one and it rocks! damn i cant rem who bought it... some one is holding on it hehehehe...
