Rookie Wants a epiphone flying v

Hi i am new here. I have been playing for 1 year( am i still a rookie?) the acoustic and wanting a epiphone flying v. Sweelee sells both ebony and white colour. i am thinking for the white 1 but i see many people play the black. Can anyone recommend me? Oh ya i want to get a strap lock and a gator bag. What affordable good straplock should i get and would the flying v fit in the gator bag?
