To me, The ROCKSTAR series have been the best voicalist search from me. Since the ROCKSTAR INXS, the rockers have seriously been rocking outt!!!
This time round, no difference !! Personal favourite, Dilanna !! she was frigging rocking out on Lithium by nirvana. Rocking HARD man.

the premise is kinda gimicky but man did the contestants rock! great stuff.

Dave Navarro,thats what i call a star.Funny to have a Metallica dude and Motley Crue sticksman in the same band,but whoever the winner is,Supernova is sure gonna rock!

First of all the songs they sang , a lot of them were from last season as well. Can't they find new songs for the guys to sing?

And also what's the point of performing songs by Goo Goo Dolls, Nickelback and Coldplay. Supernova isn't a pop band like INXS was, so I find it strange how listening to someone sing a pop-rock song can help them decide who is right for them. You might as well make them sing Britney Spears. Oh wait they did that last season.

I think it would make more sense if the contestants were to sing to songs already finished by Supernova. Hopefully they do that for the bottom 3 today. And the best part for me was the beginning of the first ep when they had to do exactly that.

i guess it demonstrated versitility and creativity with performing
and arranging music. anyway, it's a long season. every one of them
get their chance to sing pop-rock and everything else. it's good stuff.

It's quite funny how they are promoting Supernova as a very hard and heavy rock band, yet the producer Butch Walker whom they will be working with has recently worked with Bowling For Soup, Pink and Avril Lavigne to name a few. I smell sell-out.

i didn't enjoy lukas's performance a single bit, just didn't like his style. i thought that chris was the best, at the time he came out first to try to add lyrics to the song at the start of the show, but he gave quite a bad performance later eh..

Supernova is a newly formed supergroup consisting of Jason Hetfield, Tommy Lee and Gilby Clarke.

Butch Walker ROCKS.

Check out his discography before making those comments dude. He is a great singer/songwriter/guitar player. Just because he produces P!nk/Avril etc, there is nothing to make him, or any projects he does, a sell out. The album 'Letters' is a huge power pop record.....shame you cant buy it in Sg.

BTW also Rafael Moirera, the house band guitar player, is also P!nks guitar player...is he also a sellout??

i seriously like that lukas guy image, maybe its just teenagers ? But i seriously couldnt catch a word he was saying. again, maybe its just me ! but i like the girl who sang the LIthium, dilana, her stage presence and all, her voice, fuhhhh. But that girl who sang bring me back to life, cannot sing that well compared to the rest, when i checked out the first eps, where they had to come with their own lyrics, she flunked it badly. WELL, IN mY OPINION.

Supernova, seems like an all star band, maybe its a major sellout maybe it wont, time would tell! but who cares, the contestant made rock, rockier! wait does that make sense? yeah..
These guys are uncomparable to singapore idol
