RIP Pope John Paul II

my bad.

ah ... GOD called him home. the GOOD LORD rest his soul . amen.

hes in paradise now man.

Our Pope was a great leader and man, whose shoes are not easy to fill. I pray his successor will bring us the same message of peace and humanity.

In a better place now, I hope he will interceed for us too constantly.

God bless his soul.

This is indeed a sad occasion, but nonetheless a glorious one.

For His Holiness has finally been spared the suffering of this world, and has been called home to join our Father in his heavenly kingdom, rid of pain or tears, or suffering.

Rest assured, His Holiness is looking down upon us, watching us. He will always be remembered for his immense spiritual courage and his fight for peace. May the good Lord accept him lovingly into his arms, and grant him the rewards he has so justly earned himself by his deeds during his existance on earth.

Requiescat in pace, Ioannes Paulus II.

the thing i really admire about him is that he kissed the turkish guy who tried to assassinate him in 1981 as a sign of forgiveness....

i heard that the bullet missed the pope's heart by 1cm!!!!

anyways if someone tried to kill u and u were on the verge of death , how easy is it for u to forgive ur killer?

now that is something i really admire about the pope....

+1

thats grace. forgiveness of those who err.

anyway i read soemwhere that the killer was dispatched by moscow(indirectly)

I'm not surprised because it was still during the time of the Iron Curtain where the pope was speaking out against communism before Grobochev took power....

I kinda have a lukewarm reception towards him....An advocate of peace(that i respected) but the some of his ideas.....juz somehow..didn't go down too well with me....like contraception for example....hmm...not saying that he's a bad man but hey...everyone's entitled to his/her opinion/s eh?

Despite all that, God rest his soul though...an admirable figure in the twisted 21st century...!

R.I.P

Can't deny that there will be critics of some of his policies, but on the whole, his service to the Catholic church will be missed.

Pope John Paull II will be a tough act to follow.

Yeah, I watched the video of him forgiving his attempted assassin. damn touching sia... almost cry.
