was wondering which one is the correct 1? cause i can't bend my fingers to the one on the right, so i use the left one, but is there one that is correct? or both are also acceptable?
thanks!
do what u're comfortable with...as long as the right notes are pressed no1 really cares how u do it. just an fyi, django reinhardt only had 2 workable fretting fingers so he couldnt use conventional fretting techniques
the 1st fingering is only useful when you wanna do the 320033 G chord such that your 3rd and 4th fingers can fret the 1st 2 strings.
apart from that particular chord, it'll make your 3rd or 4th finger quite useless as they won't be able to fret anything useful.
the 2nd fingering is good as it leaves your index finger free to fret C, or F and it takes less movement to change from C major chord but it take some practise to get used to it.
both are correct and should be used depending on situations
Yes. As long as the correct notes are being pressed (correct fret and correct string), the chord will be the same. Which finger for which string and fret, that depends on what you're comfortable with. This applies to all chords.

For D, if it's the one requiring 3 fingers for the 1st 3 strings, that's useful for using the thumb to fret the 6th string's F#
if it's the one with the index finger barring, then that's useful for using your ring / pinky to do other fancy stuff on the 1st and 2nd strings! hope that helps
