Nope.. Honestly nope.. but i dare to say is a really good guitar.. rickenbacker is a really good guitar.. Cost at least $3000 each.. but if we talking about how modern is a Rickenbacker.. True that no kids is playing it.. Nowadays people jus wan a guitar sound good with distortion (which is stupid, no offence) and nobody is appreciate good clean tones like Rickenbacker.. But I will love a Rickenbacker and GAS for it!
sweet! now that's a drool-worthy guitar...
hey you Ric promoter is it?
can I have that in nat or burst with maple fret board?
IICR Ric bass used by Rush right?? or was it mm forgot la..
Don't think Rics are outdated as people today still use them. REM, Radiohead, U2... But expensive yeah. I actually went back to this dealer in Perth, where I originally bought my Rickenbacker and he said that Ric has closed its Asia Pac dealership. Dunno how true that is, but that means in this part of the world (outside Japan) you can't get any "new" Rics any more. Except those in current stock. Oh well. Sad.
I personally love the sound they have. I've used Rics to sub for the Telecaster though, as both provide a bright sound, altho the Ric is so, so much warmer. Used it on covers like Sunday Bloody Sunday or Vertigo. Great sound. And it's not just about jangle either, just ask Sean Lam (of Concave Scream) or Jean (of Giants Must Fall - if you want a sweet looking Ric, she's got a 360 in MONTEZUMA BROWN! Now that's drool-worthy!)
Bro, for bassists, this would appeal to you more.......
