RHCP-Strat or Tele?

haha. i don't know to me for all the strats i've heard. a lp still beats em all at the end of the day. but to be fair, i haven't heard much strats.

my gibby can produce twang as well. not bad i must say, just not a start's twang. ya know what i mean?
fat is fat but not really fat.
twang is twang but not really twangy.

hahaha. i know i'm contradicting myself in a way. don't know what i saying also. but i know my lp's fat is F-A-T. maybe its your bandmate's pedals or stuff?

a strat is a strat and a les paul is a les paul.

comparing them generically is like comparing orange to apples. But from my experience it is possible to make a strat sound fat, and in my case it sounds fatter and fuller than say someone with an SG.

Its just my personal experience so just sharing aye. Pedals and amps also are part of the equation too but at the end of the day, it all boils down to a player knowing in his head what kinda sound he wants and doing his best to achieve the closest to it with what he has.
