Reviews on TRB series basses

Hey all, i would like to find out how many guys out there used, owned or played a TRB series bass before?
What is the pros and cons about the bass? Izzit really a bass for jazz? Trb1004, 1005 and 1006 look decent with an affordable price, what your opinions?

am not very sure about the lastest 1004,1005&1006 TRB models, but do check out bass thread on talkbass about their older models(TRB4,5,6 or TRB 4p,5p,6p... some what high end quality built,thru neck on TRBp vers. Yamaha has their very own distinct tone, to me i guess it suits most genres.

Well i guess you can get them 2nd hand for now.. as yamaha had stop its production.
