Remember the Maddy Tan metal radio show?

Anyone remembers Madeline Tan's underground rock/metal show on radio in the late 90s? If I'm not wrong, it aired Sundays on 91.3fm.

This show introduced me to some great music I know.. In Flames, Slipknot etc.

If only there are shows still like that!

we always like to think about how nice it was, in the past, but at present day of internet, how relevant is it still, to know of new bands from the radio?

Heh, lets look forward instead. Back then everything more simple and nicer if thinking back. But lets not forget what we have today, the ability to equip ourself with music info so much more faster, much more quantity that was never ever possible last time, at such rate...

its nice to be nostalgic, but am glad present is where we are now...

oh yes....i believe its called 'XZRock' or something....it was pretty cool...i stopped listening to radio after her show went off-air...

I read somewhere that Maddy moved to Thailand some years back and was heading Virgin radio in Bangkok....one of the hits station. Lucky them!

oh gosh, i remember going down to the studio at taka back in those days and hanging out with her. used to chat with her and her gang on IRC... even went to play laserquest with them at cine after the show. got her to play one of my band's songs on the radio at the time too! ha... if only it were that easy now. oh well, those were good times. certainly hope she's doing well wherever she is.
