You sure? You should check out the copy protection thing before buying, cos you may regret it.

They copy protection is provided you have online connection which they will authenticate with their online servers, something like that.
And yes, you format your hard disk, they wont give a shit and -1 to your install limit since thats how EALA does things in customer support.

I'm a CnC fan myself, I played CnC3 competitively and as I mentioned before, planned to buy RA3 for casual gaming purposes due to StarCraft2 coming around the same time. This 5 install limit blew it all. EALA == fail.

On a side note:
I'm not punching EA as a whole, only the LA division. Reason? CnC3: Kane's Wrath gone gold for nearly 3 months before damn patch came out to fix the desync problems everyone had online. After which, they turn their focus to the Xbox360 which was seriously ...I don't know what to say. After 360 version's out, they focus RA3. Where's the small team we needed for the problems that still exists in the 1.01 Kane's Wrath? Nowhere until a week or two ago they announce a live team that will work on Kane's Wrath. Speechless

And I've played the Beta, it felt the same as CnC3, pretty much a mix of Generals and CnC3 but only one support power for each unit/building. Pretty bad compared to CnC3 if you ask me, but its just the beta. Hope you guys consider before buying, I rather you guys save those money for other games, honestly.

Can't compare fallout with RA3 lah, it's like laksa and chicken rice. EA's DRM is epic fail mechanism, i swear.

Red Alert and Red Alert 2 are classics, seriously.

No idea about Red Alert 3 man. I was a little put-off by Generals because I found the gameplay too easy. CnC 3 was just like Tiberium Wars although it had better graphics.

I hope Red Alert 3 is good man. I'm a big CnC fan!

i still prefer red alert 2, red alert 3 is really like generals.. it doesn't feel so shiok..

somehow i feel more "hightech" in red alert 2 than 3...

its up to u whether u wanna buy.. but if u do buy it.. lets play online together man..
their campaign is co-op..

the graphics aren't that impressive either, other than the water which looks amazing. but i always wondered what the point was in setting it in world war II period, when the weapons surpass modern technology :S it feels like warhammer 40k to me. also killer dolphins? >_>

fallout 3 is really different from gears of war man, it just looks similar but fallout 3 is very RPG-oriented. the fighting is similar though. also yes blizzard games FTW, holding out for SC2. on a related note, WTS mini red alert 3 women poster for $59.89.
