recording rates

hey guys, my band would like to record demo.
but i am nt too sure abt which recording studio offers the most reasonable prices and acceptable sound quality. can u guys do me a favour by telling me approximately how much will the recording cost , wheres the place and whats the name of the studio.

Eh, I thk it's best that you find out yourself. A more expensive studio might not produce the results that you want/ require. Your band need to go on a studio shopping trip...

I think the standard rate is about 45 bucks an hour. oh at least i can say its one of the cheaper rate...

like what AgingYouth mentioned, you should really find out yourself. but lemme give ya a headstart :wink:

me and my band did some recording at a studio called fyewerkz! studios. we recorded for 5 hours and paid $150 in total. which will mean an hour will be $30. its already the cheapest i know..

the studio is located in kallang. alight at kallang mrt and go to the left exit of the station. cross the road and you'll be in a shophouse area. keep going straight until you see the studio's staircase. its pretty camouflaged among the other shops tho' me and my band almost got lost when we realized we walked passed it. :lol:

i think you'll have to make some kind of booking first before recording.
