Recording Live Drum Tracks on Separate Tracks on DAW Software

Well, EXS24 in Logic 9 can spill individual kit in audio wave. But I only see myself once with a live drum loop. It will translate in midi so that you could shit individual kit left, right,up,down and centre. It is a sampler so you can do anything you want within it. I think people with this version start to bulid up lot of rhythm kits.

Also there is a plugin in audition to remove a lot harmonic content in a audio file. Which you could isolate a sound if you are patient enough. Of cos, all the ways mention take a lot of time. For me, I just say I can't do it. It is not worth the problem if take a lot of time.

kongwee : whatever you've just suggested, I've tried it all before ages ago (especially audition since I used cool edit) including many of the ideas I invented on my own, and you do realise it's just simply easier to just trigger the drums just like that right? I guess we still are on a different frequency because this is recorded live drum tracks talk and you're suggesting alot of things that's from a composer/arranger's perspective. don't get me wrong I'm not saying your ideas are invalid, it's just not used in live drums. in oneshot samples or loops yes. appreciate the sharing of ideas
