I find the DE7 on the verge of muddying up most of the time... it tends to be pronounced and thick... if you like that, then... well... good, else, you'll get frustrated to no end!
Hmm well I wont mind a hybrid of analog n digital actually...I remember owning a Digidelay, DE7 and a DD3, which I unfortunately sold them off a long time ago due to short of $$$..so now I wish to explore more abt delays..
faizal_rocks, you can check out the el-cheapo Danelectro PB&J delay. Its about 75 brand new @ Yamaha. Nice little pedal, good headroom, has 2 modes of operation, 1 sec of delay, its digital but the hi cut on repeats are very nicely done.
I would be rehousing mine just because... heck... its nice.
Ahh thanks for ur helpful replies..I have Dano PB&J delay currently, love the sound but I would like more versatility..anyway the dano knobs are really so damn small to control and to press with my feet..always have to use my thumb haha...heya Shredcow, if I wana sell my PB&J to u like u suggested, I`ll let ya know, alrite? : )
I was thinking of DE7 since its affordable and I used to have one b4..
ShredCow: When I engage the MM, my cleans are distorted. Not the delay only, my cleans. I need to turn down my volume knob in order to rectify this problem.
