Recommendation for Single Coil Pickup

I have a guitar in a HB-S-HB configuration. Planning to switch to a set of new pups, I have already decided on the Seymour Duncan Jazz SH2 and JB SH4 for the neck and bridge. Still undecided on the middle part, anyone has any recommendations?
BTW, planning to use a 5-way switch to combine the HB and single coil at positions 2, 4 and standalone at 3.

since you have Duncan line-up already in place, the Classic Stack Plus wouldn't be an odd addition. i love this pickup because it does cleans & distortion very well- & everything in between, of course

since this thread's up on the discussion of pickups, pardon if i ask something i've wanted to know.

i'm looking at upgrading my current guitar, a yamaha aes420..and i'm aimming for a punk/pop rock sound, sharp clean tones with a good twang and crisp distortions. and not something overly heavy ...

so i was wondering which of the following setups would be better...

duncan distortion SH-6 (BRIDGE) & Jazz Model SH-2 (Neck)

or a

59 Model SH-1 Neck & JB Model SH-4 (Bridge)

i've download most of the audio clips from Sey Dun's webbie to hear the sounds of the respective pickups, but still, i would appreciate advice from anyone who's known, tried or played on these pickups before...

or do you have other recommendations or pickup combination choices?? appreciate any help =D

i'm into Green Day, Sugarcult, Rise Against and such..maybe that'd help.

great cleans + classic-rock type responses (& some sweet split tones to boot): Alnico II humbucker (the regular version would do, not the Slash edition...).

Ideally the mid sgl pup should sort of "match" the power and balance of the neck & bridge humbuckers ...

obviously the hums will have much more power but having a sgl or stacked hum mid pup with more with compatible power & tonal range with the other 2 buckers will mean a nice transition when changing pick ups using the 5 way selector.

My current Ibanez I installed Testla pups ... extreme neck & bridge & a plasma mid ..pup .... cheaper & good alternative ..
