thin, preferably unfinished neck

yes those are easy to fulfill

but i want something eyecatching!!
like weird shapes and bright colours

any suggestions??

Ibanez RG?

Hmm.. I don't know how much exoticism you want in your axe, but if it was me i'd recommend the ibanez rg fixed bridge models, in particular the rga321f prestige. It's within your budget, fits your specs, and the sound is good, asthetics aside.

flip through the Ibanez cataloge. might find some nice guitars. RG321 seems to fit the bill. fierce or not is up to you to decide.

the xiphos shape and finish quite nice.

but is neck-thru and therefore, finished neck.

plus it has edge III which is a no-no for me
