Recommend me a distortion pedal!

Hi fellow softies, i am looking to get a new distortion pedal. anyone can recommend some good pedals? budget is ard 100-150. Thanks!

You might be able to get a used Crunch Box for that price.

You might want to test the DS1 and DS2 to ensure that they have enough gain for whatever you want to play. They won't be on my list to recommend though.

IF you're lucky enough, you might be able to get an expandora. Its a sweet pedal. I was the "lucky" one to get it for 150, 2nd hand though, but works perfectly.

sorry mate i didint check out the retail price. the dirty bomb was like 150 2nd hand on soft forum right here.
call the shops up and ask them.much faster.

i'd recommend the coolcats. dont believe go compare the coolcat distortion side by side with a crunchbox. u decide which one more worth the money.

crunchbox is out of ur budget. even second hand ones cost abt 180.

a dirty bomb costs 160 at tymc. but i'm very very convinced getting a few cool cats is MUCH more worthwhile and will get u a much wider array of tones compared to the dirty bomb.

I will say Metal Zone, MT-2 is the most awesome distortion pedal i ever tried.

but i'm very very convinced getting a few cool cats is MUCH more worthwhile and will get u a much wider array of tones compared to the dirty bomb.

ya.. you can have more pedals to play around, boost each other and have your own variety of sound..
