Recommend me a Audio Interfaces

I am a newbie to record and I am trying to do something like recording over a backing track..

I have a SM57 already..

I jus need another audio interfaces right?

If I need one, what will be the best?

Budget around $250..

It is that simple as place the mic infront of the amp, mic>Audio Interfaces> Notebook ? Do I need anything else?

the signal chain. type of pedals, amps, settings ,mic placement, gear, preamps, audio interface, DAW ,mixing etc.

Recommend Audio interface.

I recommend "Audio Kontrol" by native instruments. i have been using for 2years and it is the BEAST!!! When you buy they give you Cubase LE, Guitar amp software which you can use as the effects while recording. I really recommend this product.
