Hey i need softies help again.
Alright im thinking to get a Stratocaster copy guitar with the budget range 300 to 500.
Able to play blues and rock.
Recommend me some brands and models. thanks.

cheers.

yea i saw those strato copies on standard value's website.
im looking for a alder body stratocaster seems like only the Timbre package has that.
But i dont need the package just need the axe itself. :???:
anyone has anything else in mind?

squier strat. affinity one. they got alder....

and they actually used agathis for standard. and basswood for deluxe...

If I'm not wrong, you can by the Swing SR-200 on its own as well, you might want to send Mike at Standard Value an email enquiry. I've played it before and it was impressive for the price, but my beef was that alder has less sustain than basswood.

alright cool ill check them out thanks peeps.
anyway i saw this guitar on "By Left" website.
Squier Fender Strat going for $265.anyone knows the specs for that?

you mean the Timbre Sr200.
anyway where is Timbre from?

I recommend a strat with humbuckers at the bridge. The ones mentioned above are worth the money.

The one at By Left... Hmm... Its a California Series Squier Strat. Probably made ot of agathis.

Go to Novelty Music in Parklane if u want to get one with a humbuckler. I got mine there

hey yo i may have something u might like,
First is a Custom Dragon HSS strat - ($500) <- a nicely finished project guitar
Alder solid body,
Maple with rosewood neck.
Blank F*nder headstock
Sounds pretty sweet on stage, versatile on the humbucker and single tones, can be modded to more options.
Neck is straight, play like butter.
Adjustable trussrod , Steel strings. 21 Frets ,
Hardware: Chrome
*Neck width at nut: 1 3/4"
*Total length: 38 1/2"
*Width: 12 3/4"
*Scale length: 25.5"
*Radius: 16"
*Case: High quality gibbag, thickness enough.

i got this from a luthier in vietnam.

Dint post a sell for this because it is unique and now i have lesser time to play now due to poly projects. May let go if u like it.
the screws are goldplated.
Definitely not in the league of the usual run of sq*ires IMO, do come try it, my lost your gain

erm. if you're going to novelty music to try some of the squier or timbre, request a better amp.. I went to try this squier strat and I plug it into this small smarvo duno-wad amp... it screwed up the whole sound. This might affect your decision.

wow awesome guitar you got there Stormage.thanks for the offer but im looking for something with a plain design(classic).

haha alright ill request for a better amp thanks for the info.
Both Novelty music and By left its at parklane mall right.

Yup. Novelty is next to the Mcdonalds. Can't miss it.

Oh yes, if you're going to buy an amp, get a good one. The Smarvo amps they sell there are cheap, but not neccessary good. I regret buying the amp, although back then I was just starting out so any amp would have done for me hahaha

I bought my guitar for $280 then. Perhaps prices have dropped?
