Recommend a keyboard for computer music

8O those equipment look like some PROFESSIONAL SH :!: T.. i'm kind of a newbie at hardware so there are some things which i don't understand.. Does anyone here do or have experience making computer music with keyboards?

lets start talking simple keyboard language for a newbie like me!

ok b4 we talk abt hardware, where can i get samples which can be used on the keyboard? any particular websites?

You mentioned you have been "producing" and using software. So you already have some kind of setup. What are you using now? If you are already creating beats, exactly what are you intending to achieve now? The youtube video is very simple and basic beat making - if you're already creating beats with software, what is shown there should be nothing to you. So perhaps you need to tell us what you are already doing, and where you intend to go.

I know this post is OLD but I've been dabbling in beat-making for 4 years and the M-audio's KeyRig 49 is not bad! its not that expensive and it gets the job done, for my part at least. i make rnb hip hop and pop btw
