reccomend some jazz guitar songs

OK, you asked for it. If you can master all these you can probably jam with any one worldwide. All jazz musicians will play what is known as "standard keys". e.g. Girl from Ipanema is always played instrumentally in F unless the singer prefers otherwise.

Dude!!! how come Fly Me To The Moon is not on the list???
All the jazz players will whack your a$$ if you don't know the song

Try www.mysongbook.com . You would need Guitapro 4 or 5 to open the files though.

Alternatively, try to get your hands on as many copies of GuitarOne mag as u can. Most of the issues will have one jazz standard transcribed.

Or head down to Esplanade library to leaf thru their collection. But not all will have transcriptions. Some of them are 100% bean sprouts.

Look forward to the day when we can have a Soft Jazz Jam Festival or something...wahahaha...far-fetched idea?
