Where can i get super strong velcro in singapore? My velcro seems to drop out from the double sided tape when carried around in my pedalcase. Very weak one. Wanna get it cheap also

the one in art friend in bras basah is strong enough for me. not as strong as those hardware store ones but cheaper. its like 2 bucks a meter. just ask the ahpek where it is

the one that comes with the mrmisse pedal cases is unbelieveable! i should've realised that in the end i kept cutting smaller and smaller pieces to save it =P and they still work better than any others.

other options - use velcro glue (normal superglue may not work). this works for me. comes with velcro pieces.

Hey, i went to homefix today. The velcro there is like 4 piece $7!! Shinobi, where can i find the ahpek? I went to art friend at bras brasa on monday, and they showed me those small ones which is like 4 piece $7 also. Where the ahpek ar?

it's in the square boxes. last time i checked it was at the bottom-most rack near the place where the small velcro are. You gotta ask them to cut to the size that you want. About $2 per metre.

i paid like around 4.50 for 1 foot of industril strength velcro from homefix.

Sleepykitty, are you talking abt amk's homefix? Needa get it fast so i do not have to paste back my pedals everytime i move arnd with my pedalcase. Always drop... Weak velcro

haaaa can i confirm... is this thread about weak velcro? or adhesive on the non-velcro side of the velcro?

coz i only ever have problems with the adhesive, so does "industrial strength" velcro also mean the adhesive is "industrial strength"?

let's rate the adhesive side =)

mrmisse pedalcase adhesive: 9/10 (came out ONCE)
those that come in a large roll: 3/10
velcro(c) brand: 7/10 (still have to use glue)

3M's are pretty decent(3 feet $9? not sure). those $2/metre ones kinda suck tho.
