Posting on behalf of a company who is looking for an audio engineer (full-time).
Basically, it's a audio mastering job in a mastering studio within a CD duplication plant. You get to learn professional mastering DAWs, and work with commercial albums from major labels.
(take note: in a CD plant, they call this process pre-mastering, but in the audio engineering world, we call it mastering)
Responsibilities:
Handles and operates all audio pre-mastering equipment such as EQ, compressor, Limiter, etc.
Improves and maintains audio quality.
Editing work on audio files.
Meets customer requirements.
Assists senior sound engineer and supervisor.
Handles technical issues (include trouble-shooting; maintenance of pre-mastering equipment).
Attends to customers.
Quality check on audio masters.
Adherence to SCD Anti-Piracy manual and its procedures.
Adherence to the requirement of the ISO 14001 Environment Management Systems.
Requirements:
Diploma in Audio Engineering or related
Computer Knowledge (PC).
Good communication and written skill.
Good hearing.
Able to work independently without supervision; self motivated.
Able to work under pressure.
Without experience are highly welcomed as training will be provided.
1 Full-Time positions available.
Applicants should be Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status.
5.5 days working week
Salary range: S$1,300 to S$1,600 (Commensurate with experience & qualification)
FSV (NP) or SAE Fresh Grad are welcome.
