RC Booster problem

Hey guys,

There's this problem I've encountered with my RC booster.

Gain set to anywhere above 9 o'clock and dirt starts kicking in.

When i tested it at the shop's amp, the dirt didn't come in till like 2o'clock.

But on my practice amp (mg15r) and jamming room's laney tfx2, dirt sets in at 9 o'clock.

Anyone knows why?

Are you talking about the fact that the RC has dirt, or the fact its harder to obtain that dirt at home/studio?

Anything clean, boosted and amplified loud enough will become dirty for sure.

When Xotic says it's a clean boost, "Clean" in this case means it will not colour your original tone.

actually..by right..the RC booster has very very little gain...even when the gain is MAx....there is still very little distortion...

THe RC booster iso ne of the best boosters ive tried..Tottaly clean...not only clean...but it adds OMPH to the signal...like makes the guitar soudn alive

But really..u shouldn't be getting much distortion even at 12 oclock....its werid.. dont know how to help u bro...sorry.. maybe u can check with Randolf?

souljah is right man. try turning down the gain in your amp. some amps tend to distort early past a certain volume stage, and when you boost it you'll hit the tubes harder.

But your case sounds wierd. 15 watt practice amp? check the volume man......
