some of my observations.
1. diction can be improved.. some words like 'stronger' ,'her' wasnt articulated clearly..theres abit of slurring you need to be more crisp.
2. 'never of her' , ne-ver, in the 2nd syllabus u didnt hit the key on the dot, you hit it slightly below pitch, and you sorta 'bended' your note up to the correct pitch
same goes to 'crawling up my affection'

1.Agreed that diction definitely can be improved
2.try to not hold back on the singing,hold back to much causing ur words to sound unclear.
3.At certain passage of the songs its a lil pitchy
4.Lastly,give more soul into the songs,use dynamics to show feelings through song
Overall,its not bad,rather good blend of background music and vocals

Hmm...Honestly, it sucks! Here's what I think. The key doesn't suit you. I'm sure you can see more potentiality on your singing if gotten the right key.
Try singing something more melodic. Your voice sounded 'thin'. Singing is not about just hitting the right notes and timing. It needs the passion and the feel. You certainly don't have one. There's vibrato, slurs, signatures, etc. that you need to look into. Not everyone fit the same song. You have to choose a song that fits you well.
You don't need to sound like others as what you may not realise your own voice can be one unique distinction that others don't posses.
Record another one......I can advise you more if you wish. Can be in PM if you're not comfortable for me to say how I feel about it in the open. Take this as a challenge not something that demoralise you. You'll learn more than you bargain for.
Being in the musical industry for more than 20 years, I've seen worst singers in the past and the best that Singapore has ever produced in many genres.

Everyone has a unique tone be it thin or thick it depends on there vocal folds.So if thats is his original voice or singing voice,he shuld not change it instead improve projections.Maybe the song sounded bland but vibrato,slurs are one unique style,it need not be added into the songs to make it feel more.Dynamics are more important and you noe something from wat i noe cos my teacher is also in the music industry,they dun have time to come to forums and pinpoint ppl.He gets paid 70 and more bucks half and hours listening to ppl...So forums are only for ppl to share music and to help one another,anything else is all in this forum...
