Quit a huge depression from the 12th fret up

Theres quit a big curve from the 12th fret on my acoustic..mainly on the High E side, the low E isn't really that big of a curve..(i'm looking down the neck from the head)

Adjusting the truss rod doesn't help at all...i mean, it does straighten the neck, but doesn't straighten from the 12 fret up..

Maybe my guitar is too dry? lol...

The truss rod will only affect the straightness of the neck up to about the twelfth fret as this is where it is connected to the neck itself. If the remainder of the fretboard (not the neck anymore) curves up, then look for any cracks between the fretboard and the top of the guitar.

If there are any, that that explains what has happened - the board is giving way and needs to be reglued to the top. No gaps means the top is warped and that's much harder to fix. If the guitar is new, then return it to the shop for repair or refund, if not then ask on the guitar gear section for some help in finding someone to fix it. I'm back in Oz, otherwise I'd have a look at it for you.

cheers,

Mark.
